Step-by-step guide into what goes in to designing your dream garden

IDEAS

I start out by speaking with you about your existing garden to discover what parts you like and which bits you want to change.

We can discuss any ideas you have for the space

& check out any inspirational photos/clippings you might have saved up.

I will share with you some of my own ideas for your garden.

PLANNING

We discuss budget, what types of materials you'd like to use and I can survey the existing garden depending on your requirements

I also recommend testing your soil to determine the soil type/pH which helps ensure that the plants chosen thrive in your garden.

DESIGN

I then start to create some designs for your garden.

You will be shown concept plans and sketches along the way to make sure you're happy with the direction we're going in. This part is very exciting as you can start to envisage what your new garden might look like.

SKETCH

I will often use sketches, photographs or presentation boards to help you visualise your new space

RESULTS

You will then be sent a set of completed designs to give to your chosen contractor to put into action
